Cind-R-lite uses state of the art Equipment from Besser and Columbia to create its well known light weight Cinder Block and Pavers. Today Cind-R-lite is comprised of three Manufacturing locations. Two in the Las Vegas Valley and the other in Armagosa Valley.

Past
In 1945 a new unique concrete block was created. The block was formed from a new, desert friendly, building material made with light and porous volcanic ash also known as Cinders. This would turn out to be the main in what is now known as Cind-R-Lite Block.

Then in 1954 H.O. Allen and T.E. Connolly Purchased Cind-R-Lite Block Company. The company mined cinders from a cone located 90 miles outside of Las Vegas and continues to this day. In 1987 H.O. son Tom Allen took over and evolved the company into what it is today. The major concrete masonry producer in southern nevada.
